"Stylish and well-made, but the practicality falls short. Top-only access paired with a fiddly drawstring makes getting into the bag more effort than it should be, and a single interior divider leaves little room for organisation — one or two more, ideally zipped, would make a real difference."

"The colour of the bag is fantastic. The canvas is lovely, the leather and buckles all beautifully made. My old 'Pop Quiz' Herschel had a much more robust, felt lined laptop sleeve. This new design (and indeed the new Pop Quiz design, uses a less padded, simple inner sleeve. I would love to see these with the felt lined sleeves again. That, and the black coloured drawstring that pulls the bag shut stands out so bizarrely on this white canvas bag and feels like an overlooked detail that's inconsistent with all the lovely leather and tan. Otherwise, this is a perfect smaller sized bag for a 13" Macbook Air, charger and bits, and I love the side pocket for a water bottle, and overall it looks and feels like the quality we expect from Herschel. Super happy with it, those two minor details aside."

"Judging from other reviews, I saw that the bag was small but roomy enough to hold my laptop and purse. But there is also room for my lunch bag and water bottle! I love the pockets too. And it’s light weight even when full, so my back & shoulders are not sore at the end of the day. I was hoping for more of a waterproof material, but I’ve worn this bag in Midwest January rain and snow, and nothing soaked through. If you’re thinking about getting this bag, and you need a sign…. this is your sign! Get the bag!!"
